From a B.Tech project to India’s most intelligent strategy engine for higher education.
Studium began as a final-year engineering project at VIIT Pune. Our founder, Shubham Purandare, a curious and driven student, wanted to understand why accreditations remained so painful for institutions despite the rise of ERP platforms. After a few years of management consulting experience at Barclays, he left corporate life in 2020 to pursue that question full-time.
Through conversations with hundreds of educators, Shubham realized the core issue: while institutions had plenty of data, what was missing was actionable insight.
Hence was born Studium. With a powerful blend of data analytics, AI, and deep domain understanding, we’re building tools that help institutions not just comply with frameworks like NAAC and NIRF but grow strategically, year after year.
