2026 The recently released NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) Rankings 2025 has sent a clear message to Andhra Pradesh’s higher education ecosystem , quality must now match access. According to a statement by Andhra Pradesh Governor Abdul Nazeer, only one state university - Andhra University , featured within the Top 50 overall rankings, while Acharya Nagarjuna University appeared in the top 100. This performance reflects both progress and the significant opportunities for improvement for the state’s public universities.
